Dr. MG Pitswane established this practice, bringing over a decade of experience from both government and private hospitals. As a General Practitioner, Dr. Pitswane is deeply committed to emergency medicine, mental health care, and addressing substance abuse-related issues. She completed her studies in Psychiatry soon after earning her General Practitioner degree in 2003. Motivated by her empathy for those suffering from the often overlooked yet devastating effects of mental health issues, she shifted her focus to Mental Healthcare.

Pitswane has worked at several reputable institutions, including Lesedi Private Hospital, Flora Clinic, Louis Pasteur Hospital, and Clinical Care Solutions, where she honed her expertise in psychotherapy and research. Additionally, she served as a Registrar in Psychiatry at the Wits Circuit from 2011 to 2015, gaining valuable experience at Sterkfontein Psychiatric Hospital, Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, Joburg General Hospital, Tara Hospital, and various psychiatric clinics throughout Johannesburg.

Since 2015, Dr. Pitswane has been employed full-time at OR Tambo Hospital and has been available by appointment as a General Practitioner at her private practice, Dr. MG Pitswane Wellness Rooms, for the past seven years.
